Make capital count.

Scale a business. Reinvest your profits. Build toward more.
ZPM’s focus extends from the portfolio to the bigger picture: what you build, what you earn, and what you do next.

The portfolio approach

A disciplined framework.
A wider perspective.

Quantitative research. Thoughtful portfolio construction.
A clear view of risk. Every part of the process, considered together.

Research & construction

From model to portfolio.
Every position has a context.

ZPM is developing a framework that uses quantitative models to evaluate opportunities and inform portfolio construction. Each position is considered within the portfolio’s overall exposure.

Investment horizon

Led by the model.
Not by the calendar.

A position may be held for about a day, several months, or a year or longer. Holding periods respond to model signals, rather than a fixed trading schedule.

Risk is part of the process.

Systematic risk assessment is central to the framework being developed, alongside transparent terms and long-term investor alignment.

Proposed investment terms

Clear terms.
From the beginning.

The economics should be easy to understand.
The details should be clear before you invest.

Proposed terms. Subject to legal, regulatory, and final documentation requirements.

Understanding the high-water mark

Recovery comes first.
Performance fees follow.

A performance fee applies only to eligible new net profits above the investor’s applicable high-water mark. A profitable trade after a loss does not, on its own, trigger a performance fee.

In this simplified example, the portfolio must exceed $1,000 before a performance fee can apply.

Recovery illustrationUSD

Portfolio stageValuePerf. fee
Initial investment$1,000$0
After a decline$900$0
Partial recovery$975$0
Full recovery$1,000$0

Illustrative only, not investment performance. Assumes no deposits, withdrawals, management fees, or previously crystallized performance fees.

How is the high-water mark adjusted?

Additional deposits, withdrawals, management fees, and crystallized performance fees must be accounted for when defining the high-water mark. Where fees have previously crystallized, the properly adjusted mark applies, rather than simply the original deposit. Final calculation methods will be set out in the governing agreements.

When do management fees apply?

The proposed 1% annual management fee is separate from the performance fee and may apply regardless of investment performance, including during a decline or recovery. Fee collection frequency and final calculation methods remain subject to the eventual governing agreements, legal requirements, and regulatory requirements.
